Duties and responsibilities:

1.Examines, diagnoses, and treats acute and chronic diseases and injuries within the scope of Family Medicine in outpatient setting. Prepares and reviews case histories and obtains data through interviews;

2.Examines patients and determines x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required. Interprets test results and evaluates examination findings;

3.Administers and prescribes treatment such as antibiotics, drugs, and compresses;

4.Determines need for and assists in specialized medical care and treatment;

5.Works on quality improvement activities within the department in collaboration with other doctors and Department Chief;

6.Resource for nursing staff regarding patient care issues;

7.Arranges for consults and patient transfers as needed;

8. Will work closely with the Administrative Leader/Department Chief  in supporting departmental goals;

9.Exemplifies highest levels of professionalism and medical ethics in every aspect of his or her work and relationships.

Qualification and requirements:

Qualifications:

1.Graduate from an accredited medical or related school;

2.Minimum 5 years GP clinical experience.

Skills:

1.Ability to organize and prioritize;

2.Good communication skill in both English and Chinese;

3.Friendly treatment of patients;

4.Be responsible and able to work independently at most of the time. 

Knowledge：

1.Good clinical experience;

2.Evidence based medicine.
