Graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine as an undergraduate and postgraduate student, and studied under Prof. Fan Xianqun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, president of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, and a renowned ophthalmologist. Previously worked in Shanghai Ruijin Hospital and Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital for nearly 10 years.
